Background The Morris C8 Field Artillery Tractor(FAT) was designed by the British in World War 2 as an artillery towing vehicle. Commonly known as a Quad, the vehicle was the backbone for both towed artillery and towed anti-tank gun regiments to ensure the guns got to where they were needed. The Mk II variant of the Morris C8 FAT was almost identical to the Mk I with the exception of the removed of the locking differential. Takom Chieftain Mk.5/5P - Inbox Review

Background The British Chieftain(FV4201) was the main battle tank for the British Army from the 1960's to the 1990's. The Chieftain was the further development of the Centurion tank, improving on many aspects, but maintaining many as well. Some of the improvements over the Centurion included improved armor, sloping the front glacis and turret, multi fuel engine, and the use of the L11A5 120mm main gun. The Chieftain entered service in 1967, and through many upgrade programs was final withdrawn from the British Army in 1995. It also serve with other countries, to include Jordan, Iran, Oman, and Kuwait. During the 1990 Iraq-Kuwait War, the Chieftain saw action against two Iraqi divisions. Russian T-50 Infantry Tank - Inbox Review

Background The T-50 tank of the Russian Army was developed just prior to World War 2 with the plan of replacing the T-26, a copy of the British Vickers tank. Experience during the Spanish Civil War showed that the T-26 was quickly becoming obsolete. The T-50 was intended to become the light tank of the Russian Army, but being of a complicated design for the time and the high expense, approximately only 70 tanks were built. Another main reason for the demise was the unreliability of the 4-cylinder engine. Some of the T-50 tanks were deployed and used on the Leningrad front. It should be noted that parts of the design also lead to the famous T-34, which became the main tank of the Russian Army in World War 2.
